In celebration of love month, the Human Resources Department of TeamALJAY launched its first-ever Aljay Virtual Radio through Facebook live last February 1 to give entertainment and “kilig” in the workplace.
Our Disc Jockey (DJ) for this exciting activity was our HR Officer – Mr. Reynaldo V. Garcia, Jr. a.k.a Papa Rampampam with the tagline “Bawal ang Papam-pam ‘‘ accompanied by the background music of the trending music in TikTok Pamparampampam.
This engagement activity aimed all employees of TeamALJAY to share their unforgettable and memorable love life experiences. Love letters were sent by unknown employees sharing his/her own experience. Dj Papa Rampampam will then read one story on Aljay Virtual Radio, every 3 o’clock in the afternoon during weekdays.
Some had their happy endings, some were tragic, full of sorrows and heartaches, but what’s most important is that it taught all employees a moral lesson for every story. We also exposed aspiring guest DJs who gave advice to the sender and also to the viewers.
For added entertainment, Dj Papa Rampampam let the viewers guess the story’s title after each episode and the first viewer to guess correctly would get a reward.
Guest couples were also invited on Fridays for more “kilig”. In this segment, a couple’s relationship was revealed, two hearts were matched, and a courting happened! The viewers were totally amused watching these couples.
Aljay Virtual Radio really entertained most of the employees. Because of this, our very own ALJAY Radio will continue broadcasting all-year-round. Stay tuned!!!
SPOKEN POETRY
Sending Kilig during social distancing in TeamAljay has continued as we had this Spoken Poetry competition in which all poetry pieces were composed and delivered by different divisions and departments of TeamALJAY. Entries were uploaded on Facebook and it reached up to 22 different faces of “LOVE”-sorrow, pain, patriotism, and happiness. This activity had revealed the hidden talent of employees who actively participated.
In the end, the company chose one entry each from outside and inside the office as winners, and they are as follows: Ms. Judica Cabat – Research Officer, Head Office with the title; “Paalam” and Mr. Jeru Cabrera – Research Field Officer of Visayas Area, “Bakit mo pa ako Pinasaya kung Iiwan mo rin lang pala ako sa dulo”.
Social distancing does not limit our capacity to share love. While we hope socially distant occasions are not a thing of the future, they do serve as a beautiful reminder that love truly does defy all boundaries.
